Sofwave™ is a non-invasive ultrasound treatment designed to improve the appearance of skin laxity and fine lines. Downtime is usually minimal. The treatment experience
During the procedure, a cooling ultrasound gel is applied before the handheld device delivers precise ultrasound energy to the mid-dermis. You may feel a warmth or tingling sensation, but most clients find the treatment very tolerable thanks to Sofwave’s built-in integrated cooling system that protects the skin’s surface. Over the following weeks, Sofwave stimulates your skin to produce new collagen and elastin, meaning results continue to improve for up to 12 weeks after treatment.

One of the biggest advantages of Sofwave™ is that there’s little to no downtime for most clients.
Immediately After
- Skin may appear slightly pink or warm for a few hours.
- Mild swelling or tenderness can occur but settles quickly.
- Makeup can be applied the same day if desired.
Short Term
- Any sensitivity fades within 24–48 hours.
- Avoid strong actives (retinol, acids, scrubs) for 3–5 days, then resume your routine.
- Results develop gradually as collagen remodels, usually from 4 weeks.
Long Term Results

- Results build gradually with improvements visible from 4–6 weeks, and full results around 12 weeks post-treatment.

How Long Do Results Last?
How long results last varies between people. Your nurse will discuss whether maintenance treatments suit you.
Before Treatment
Avoid sunburn or tanning for 2 weeks.
Stop using strong skincare like retinol or acids 3–5 days before.
After Treatment
You can go back to normal life straight away.
Skin may look a little pink or feel warm for a few hours.
Avoid hot saunas, steam rooms, or intense exercise for 24 hours.
Skip strong skincare (retinol, scrubs, peels) for 3–5 days.
Wear SPF 50+ daily to protect results.
