As we age our our platysmal bands in our neck can look more pronounced. The Nefertiti treatment involves the application of small doses of Wrinkle relaxers into the jawline and neck for a non surgical neck lift. It prevents the muscles from pulling downwards and causing wrinkles, resulting in a redefinition of the lower face and tightening the neck area.

The treatment experience
As Nefertiti Neck Treatment use a prescription product, we first conduct a medical consent.
The nurse will map out the area to be treated and ice packs are used to numb.
A number of treatments are made in an area targeted to the muscles which are causing your wrinkles, each to a specific depth and with a specific volume of product.

Pre and post care
Nefertiti Neck Treatments work in a single treatment and can last for up to 12 months.
There is no downtime required for the Nefertiti treatment and you can resume normal activities immediately. However you should avoid the following for 24 hours:
- Strenuous exercise
- Consumption of alcohol
It is also recommended to avoid the following for two weeks:
- Extended exposure to sun or uv light
- Extended exposure to heat or freezing temperatures
Exposure to any of the above may cause temporary redness, swelling, and/or itching at the treatment sites. If you have swelling, you can apply an ice pack for a brief period to help with discomfort.
We always recommend the use of sunscreen to prevent sun damage to the skin. Sunscreen with SPF 30 or above should be used daily. If you are under the sun for prolonged periods of time, sunscreen needs to be reapplied at least once every two hours.

On rare occasion, side effects immediately can include mild bruising from the injection itself, headache or flu-like symptoms.
Very rarely, facial pain or weaknesses in the surrounding muscles can also occur.

Nefertiti Neck treatment is not suitable for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
